Entry 1

The wind was blowing fiercy, and it felt crisp against my pale skin, the deathly stare from the vampire’s eyes pierced even the moonlight’s glow. The sound of rain was drowning out the screams from the vampires evening quarry. The vampire’s mouth opened and the cold night’s air spewed out into a vapour, suddenly the rain surrounding the vampire formed a grip around its arm like a snake chocking its prey, with one swift movement it threw a ball of frozen ice toward me, I drew my flintlock pistol and shot the ball of ice smashing it. The vampire just smirked and in this instant the icicles now formed arrow shaped shards that where hurtling toward my body. I had to think fast, I holsted my pistol with a swiftness I had mastered, then turning counter clockwise watched as the icicles smash into the concrete wall behind me. Now the vampire was right next to me I could taste its vile breathe at the back of my throat. It grabbed me by the neck and lifted me high in the air. This was it, the vampire sensed my fear, snorting and sniffing my body admiring its work.  I have it right where I want it, my fear was a signal to make the vampire vulnerable, I grabbed the vampires arm and crushed it like a walnuts shell, and the vampire reeled in pain letting out a screech with piercing satisfaction. I took the flintlock from its holster and with one move pulled the trigger hitting the vampire, it slumped to the ground with a thud and the blood was snaking its way through the creeks in the cobblestoned ground. I took my top hat off and gave a gracious bow to my opponent.
