Entry 4

Eliza dragged me to the back room where she lay me down and began searching for things to close my wound, eventually she found rags, a bottle of whiskey and a needle and thread.

"I think you know what is about to happen Regnum," she asked and I replied, "Yes my lady just get on with it will you, if you want me to clean up the pile of dead vampire mess before I am rotting in a pile of dirt myself".

She smirked and began tending to my wound, her touch was soft and gentle, her beauty is captivating, the hours of training I endured with her seemed a fair trade off to gaze upon Eliza any chance I got. Eliza has been a hunter since the tender age of 13, she has shown no remorse or guilt killing the vampire swarms and it seems she rather enjoys it.

I bite my lip as she splashes the whiskey onto my arm I flinch and Eliza rubs my hand to soothe me, it works. She begins to talk in an attempt to distract me, "Where do we go from here Regnum, we have to find out how the vampire found my home and put a end to this massacre of humans and hunters alike," she said concerned, I answered her abruptly "I want you by my side at all times Eliza, I am fully aware of your skills as a marksmen and my abilities are best exploited up close and personal with the vial creatures, well what do you say is my trainer to become my partner?" she stood up replied, "the vampires are stronger, smarter, quicker and more deadly than ever, so two vampire hunters is better than one" as she said this she walked over to the far wall and grabbed a weapon it looked like a crossbow, a very plain looking design, it looked well used and the only thing that stood out was the glistening silver bolts, which where made the same way as the bullets she used on the dead vampire. She spun 180 degrees and aimed the crossbow at the table I was laying on pulling the trigger, I watched the bolt travel toward me and it whistled past my head landing between my legs inches away from my crotch.

"So Regnum now your arm is no longer my concern, are you going to clean up that mess in my hallway or am I going to have to place my aim a little higher? I rolled off the table and stood up straight then said, "but of course my lady I would be delighted".
