Entry 7

"Elric" I shouted as I tried to fix my clothing Eliza look puzzled..
"Regnum it has been too long" he said calmly
"I was at your funeral what madness is this..." my voice was quivering
"You see brother I have been a bad bad man, for I have joined the next step in evolution I command armies of undead and can eradicate entire cities with my power", his voice was maddening.
"Your a vampire no Elric what have you done...",
"Brother brother now come on don't be like that join me...."he said opening his arms. All I could do was stare at him and at what he had become, Eliza decided she had heard enough.
"I don't care who you are your all scum of the earth to me" she screamed and ran toward Elric, Eliza was skilled possibly the best hunter I have ever had the pleasure of meeting but Elric was just avoiding all attacks maybe she was weakened from what had just happened between us.
"My my your a feisty one Regnum she may make a man of you yet" he exclaimed,
"BROTHER" I shouted as I leaped toward him, now myself and Eliza where both  attacking him we where fatigued and Elric knew this he was toying with us, he jumped to the upper floor balcony looking down on us he said.

"Well this has been enlightening but I enjoy being challenged and for now I am disappointed in you Regnum, I was told that you are a legendary hunter but all I see is a horny boy in a mans body goodbye for now dear brother" and with that he vanished out of sight.
"ELRIC, ... why" I shouted
Eliza put her hand on my shoulder and said.
"Regnum we need to leave now, we can discuss what has happened in safer surrounding."

We left the mansion but first we grabbed the sack of artifacts and slowly walked away we needed to find somewhere to rest as we are both weak and if we get attacked I am unsure will survive to see the sunrise in a few hours.

We walked silent but Eliza broke this by saying, "Regnum there", pointing to a small woodcutters shed that had obviously been abandoned, we entered with caution and surveyed what was in there, it smelt of damp wood and old smoke, there was a bed small in size but that did not matter the fireplace was well used but still functional, I grabbed what scraps of wood there was and tried to create a spark to light the fire, Eliza interrupted me and grabbed something from the sack, I was expecting something unusual but she pulled out lighter and said,
"Well, you never know when one of these will be helpful", I smiled as she got the fire burning, sitting on the hard bed my eyes where shutting and my limbs where relaxed Eliza lay on the bed and rested her head in my lap saying,
"We can talk about what happened in the mansion at first light we..." she looked up at me and I was already asleep.

I awoke to rustling from outside the shack, Eliza had already taken position behind the door crossbow in hand. I crouched and met her, I quickly opened the door but all that greeted me was a bag with a note on top. I grabbed the bag and quickly looked around nobody was in sight, bringing the bag in I read the note,

I know who you both and what you are trying to do our brotherhood is at your service, don't trust the Vatican they are allied with the vampire hordes, you are the only people who can end this.
